This is controversal in topics to discuss. You either can or cannot in simple terms.
I believe my simple Rosemary soap would be good as a shampoo for people that are sensitive, but not something with sulphates.
Sulphates have good uses and sometimes they do good. I found a interesting article from a expert on ABC News. CLICK HERE
So after reading this interesting as it was, sensitive skin could have issues with some sulphates and Ive managed to tweak mine a little
for my shampoo bars. SLS is one of the worst for sensitive skins, I dont use it here because of this, nearly my whole family has sensitive
skin, I made presents first off so pointless learning to do presents they would not use. Who knew they would set me up for life eh.
Sulphates are a personal decision, but here are some things I learned. If you are using keratin products and have sulphates the sulphates
will strip the keratin out. Also if you dye your hair it will take the dye out quicker, that is why now many hair dyers say use a sulphate free
shampoo and conditioner. They can irritate your scalp. They can also dry out your scalp.
So the warning is if you are worried about your head and hair being damaged by sulphates look for products that do not have SLS or SLES
in them.
I have opted to use alternatives in my products, I apprecaite my scalp and what hair I have and have grown back. Its your call, its your choice.
Ultimately we do not need them.
